"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers the little things, long after you have forgotten everything."

A few things you might like to know - I met my other half 5 years ago on a dating website - plenty of fish to be exact! - and we have been pretty much inseparable ever since! We now have two dogs who are crazy little things but we couldn't live without them. Arnold is a frug (a.k.a frenchie pug!) and Mavis is a frenchie! We are both a tad obsessed with dogs and are those people that will spot a dog a mile off and just have to stroke it.
I spent 6 years of my life studying Fashion Design and a further 3 years working in the Industry until I decided it was no longer for me. That's when photography came in to my life (just over 4 years ago now! How time flies.)
When I was little I dreamed of being an interior designer and having my own T.V show (changing rooms eat your heart out!) and to this day I am still a tad obsessed with home design! Have you ever watched Fixer Upper? I can't get enough of that show!
Anthony and I are total T.V series binge watchers, I love having a good series to watch! We are now having to re-watch everything as we have watched pretty much every series on Netflix!
Now on to the weddingy goodness...
I love meeting people and hearing their stories. Whilst your wedding day itself is incredibly exciting and wonderful, for me it isn't just about that one day, it's about your whole journey and story. I fall in love with my couples stories. I love love. There is nothing more beautiful in this world, for me, than seeing two people so in love, so peaceful and happy. It's a wonderful thing.
That's why I wholeheartedly love being a wedding photographer. I get to witness those emotions every time I go to 'work.' Photographing weddings fills my heart with joy and happiness. I am truly blessed.
The couples I have the pleasure of working with are the ones bursting at the seams with excitement for their wedding day. They don't want any stress, just a day that is created around their love and devotion to each other. They are planning their day for them, no one else. It isn't completely traditional, but keeping the fun traditions (like the throwing of confetti, and first dance!) Their day is unique to them, they don't follow the crowd, they definitely don't want a venue package with all the trimmings. They want to add their personality to their big day. They want an intimate wedding with their closest friends and family, perhaps they elope to Italy or Greece and have an incredibly romantic sunset wedding. Above all else, they want to enjoy their day together.
If this sounds anything like the day you are planning, I have to hear from you!
Let's create a little magic together.
