f.a.q guide. . .

As I usually get asked very similar questions by most clients, I thought it would be much easier if I put together a simple F.A.Q guide that hopefully answers any lingering questions.

If you have any other questions you feel would be beneficial to add, please don't hesitate to get in touch using the contact form.

Do you only photograph weddings in the Lancashire area or are you happy to travel?

I am more than happy to travel anywhere to photograph your day - in fact, I would rather travel! While Lancashire holds absolutely stunning venues and scenery, I would love to photograph destination weddings - particularly in Italy and France!

How would you describe your photographic style?

My style is largely editorialbeautifulclean, paying particular attention to the details of the day. Editorial focuses less on telling the absolute truth of the day as a documentary/reportage photographer might, but aims to create a beautiful reflection of the wedding, often using soft, flattering light. You can read all about my photographic style and how I incorporate this into your wedding photography here.

Do you only shoot weddings?

Although weddings are my primary focus, I love to document family, maternity and newborns.

Do you offer engagement shoots?

I do offer engagement shoots and I highly recommend booking in for one with your wedding photographer. You can read all about engagement sessions and why they are important here. Engagement shoots are complimentary with my Silk & Ethereal wedding packages. These types of shoots usually take place on a weekday, as I am busy most weekends photographing weddings.

How much are your wedding photography packages?

I offer three unique wedding photography packages, starting from £995. Please get in touch using the contact form and I would be happy to send you my full pricing details.

Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes, wedding albums can be added to any of my wedding photography packages, and a 10x10 fine art album is included within my Ethereal package. Please get in touch if you would like to receive my album price list. You can read more about fine art albums here.

How do we book?

A 20% deposit of your chosen package and a signed contract secures your date. Your balance is then due 2 weeks prior to your wedding day.

How soon do we receive our wedding photos?

Every image is carefully edited by myself, making sure every image is perfect. This does take time but is definitely worth the wait! You can expect to receive your photos within 10 - 12 weeks during peak wedding season, which is usually between June - September. Between October - May, you can expect to receive your photos within 8 weeks.

Are you insured?

Yes, I am fully insured with both public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
